The Russian minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that evidences about the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government should not keep secret.
“What our American, British and French partners have shown us before – as well as now – does not convince us at all. There are no supporting facts, there is only repetitive talk in the vein of ‘we know for sure.’ And when we ask for further clarification, we receive the following response: ‘You are aware that this is classified information, therefore we cannot show it to you.’ So there are still no facts.”
Lavrov expressed these words at the time that yesterday the U.S. President Barak Obama said that he has taken decision to strike Syrian military targets in rebuke for the use of the chemical weapons in Damascus and suburbs on August 21st.
“Now, after careful deliberation, I have decided that the United States should take military action against Syrian regime targets. This would not be an open-ended intervention. We would not put boots on the ground. Instead, our action would be designed to be limited in duration and scope.”
During a concise press conference in Washington, President Obama said that they cannot ignore the use of chemical weapons against Syria.
“But we are the United States of America, and we cannot and must not turn a blind eye to what happened in Damascus. Out of the ashes of the world war, we built an international order and enforced the rules that gave it meaning.”
Obama said that he is seeking the approval of the congress to carry out strikes against Syria.
“I will seek authorization for the use of force from the American peoples’ representatives in congress.”
The Syrian opposition disappointed over the decisions of Obama to delay the strikes against Syria and say delay in strikes will give President Assad a green light to continue using chemical weapons.

The English parliament a key ally of USA, refused the contribution of UK in any military strike against Syria on Thursday.
On the other hand, the two main allies of Syria, Iran and Russia are insisting on political solutions of crisis in Syria and both countries had warned about any possible military intervention in Syria.
The Russian president, Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that allegation of chemical weapons by the Syrian government in suburbs of Damascus is “nonsense utterance”.
Some Arab experts say Syria has been the pivot of resistance against the Israelis and a safe shelter for Palestinian refugees and fighters. They say ending the Assad government will deprive Palestinians from safe shelters and it will end the
